The Jumbos outdoor facility was resurfaced in 2005 with a Eurotan all-weather surface. The eight lane track includes a steeplechase pit, two jumping pits, fully automatic timing, and two throwing rings. Ellis Oval is home to the Snowflake Classic, usually the first meet of the outdoor season for the competing teams. In recent years, the track has hosted both the NESCAC championships and the Division III New England Championships.
