Small Squad Starts Semester Strong at Dartmouth

The Jumbos came away with 20 points and a 7th place finish at the 2007 Dartmouth relays.

Junior high jumper Jeremy Arak was able to squeak out a win in the high jump, clearing 6'6" and narrowly defeating the second-place finisher on fewer misses.

Fellow junior Joseph Brown scored 6 points in the Weight Throw and the Shot Put, placing 7th and 17th, respectively, with tosses of 51'6.5" and 39'6".

Rounding out the competitors for the Jumbos was senior Josh Kennedy, who earned 6th place in the 3000m with his time of 8:48.74.

These three will be joined by the rest of the Jumbos for a week of early return practices, followed by the first of Tufts three home invitations on Saturday, where the team will look to start the semester strong.
