Sophomore Josh Kennedy Earns All-American Honors

Josh Kennedy capped off a great season, placing 32nd out of 215 runners at the NCAA DIII National Cross Country Meet at the Whitetail Golf Course in Colfax, WI. His time of 25:16.3, a 22 second PR over 8000 meters, led the Tufts Jumbo?s to a 6th place team finish.

Kennedy ran a smart race, just off the front pack. Not letting the density of the race faze him, he stayed around 45th place until the final mile, where he began his assault on the top 35. A fierce kick landed him in 32nd, a mere 4 seconds from 21st place, but only 1 second ahead of the dreaded 36th spot.
