Dan Marcy Finishes 2nd in Triple Jump!

Senior Captain Dan Marcy landed a 14.74m (48' 4.5") jump to claim 2nd place at the 2008 NCAA Division III Indoor Championships. The new personal best for Marcy could not have come at a better time, as five jumpers in the competition cleared 48 feet. This was Marcy's second career All American honor.

Senior Captain Dave Sorensen qualified for the finals in the mile with a time of 4:17.52 in Friday's preliminary round. He finished 9th overall in the finals, crossing the line in 4:19.29.

Junior James Bradley missed the opening height of 1.95m (6' 4.75") on all three attempts.

All three Jumbos who competed at the meet, as well as the rest of the team, can look back at this indoor season as an overall success. But the work certainly does not stop here; the outdoor season begins March 29th for Tufts University's only home meet of the season.
