In the long jump, senior captain Nate Scott, classmate Derek Engelking, and rookie sophomore Jon Pak all cleared the Division III New England qualifier. Scott landed a 6.39m jump, Pak reached 6.32m on his last attempt, and Engelking was right behind in 6.31m. Scott also ran a tune-up 55m hurdles race as he gets ready for the pentathlon in a personal-best time of 8.01.
The triple jumpers also had a strong day, with senior captain Dan Marcy provisionally qualifying for the NCAA Championships for the second week in a row, and classmate Jake Fromer hitting the ECAC qualifier in five of his six jumps. Marcy's best distance was 14.18m, and Fromer's was 13.25m. In the high jump, sophomore Isaiah Paramore cleared 1.86m, qualifying him for next Saturday's meet.
