Tufts 5th at Division III Championship

The Tufts men took 5th place in the New England Division III Championships on a scorching day at Williams College. Peter Bromka started the day off right for the Jumbos with a win in the 10,000 meters. Fred Jones won the triple jump with a nationally qualifying distance. Fellow jumper Nate Thompson took 6th in the 110 meter hurdles. Senior captain Peter Jurczynski placed in 5th in the steeplechase. Junior Ray Carre performed well in the 200 and 400, winning his heat in the 400 and eventually coming in 4th in the finals. Dan March led the throwers with a PR in the hammer good enough for 4th place.
