The Jumbos traveled to Waterford, CT, this past Saturday for the Conn College Invite. Like most teams, the Jumbos looked to Conn's flat, fast course as an opportunity to set PRs. Many teams were disappointed Saturday morning when 50-mph gusts of wind greeted their arrival to Waterford. But the Tufts squad remained focused on the task at hand. They threw off their watches, forgot about times, and got down to the business of racing. This strategy paid huge dividends.
