For some athletes, the meet served as a final opportunity to qualify for the post-season. For others, the meet was the final tune-up before the championship season. Tufts saw strong performances from a wide range of athletes throughout the squad, including personal bests in the vault, the hurdles, and the throws.
In the hurdles, senior Nate Thompson dipped under 8 seconds for the first time this season, winning the finals in 7.92 seconds. Sophomore Jamil Ludd finished right behind him in a PR of 7.93 seconds.
In the pole vault, Seth Lapierre and Justin Henneman led the field with vaults of 13'9. The performance was a career best for Henneman.
The squad's jumpers posted a notable performance in the triple jump, taking five of the top six spots. This included Fred Jones, Nate Thompson, Nathan Scott, Kenny Kang, and Dan Marcy.
