In some years, the Snowflake Classic has proved unseasonably warm. In others, it has lived up to its name, and the steeplechase has been delayed while officials chipped ice off the water pit. Fortunately, the Jumbos got a break from New England weather this weekend and saw clear skies at one of its biggest season-opening home meets in recent memory. And they made the most of it. With good intensity from 10k to 4x4, Tufts set the tone for when it defends this track in a month
