Brian McLaughlin represents so much of what it means to be a Tufts student/athlete -- a skateboarding, engineer/musician who runs at an elite level. Hailing from the smallest state in the union, it's surprising that Rhode Island was even able to contain all of Brian's potential. Coming from an incredibly low mileage background, Brian looks to turn some heads this year after he flew under the radar last year.

Brian was a clutch performer for the Jumbos during the 2011 XC season. He was the team's #2 runner at the NESCAC and Regional Championship, where he earned All-Region honors. At NCAA's he placed 95th overall and was third across the line for the 9th place Jumbos.
