Sophomore
Andrew Longley broke his now 20-day-old school record in the 200m dash with a time of 22.28. Longley also broke the 50-second barrier for the first time and qualified for the finals of the 400m in a personal-best of 49.45. Fellow sophomores
Billy Hale,
Jesse Faller,
Scott Brinkman,
Trevor Donadt, and
Ikenna Acholonu also had huge days. Hale ran the 800m in a new personal best of 1:54.87, Faller PRed in the 5000m with a time of 14:46.90, Brinkman ran the 500m in 1:05.71, and Donadt and Acholonu qualified for the hurdle semifinals with times of 7.82 and 7.89, respectively.
Junior
Colin Fitzgerald also set a new PR in the 200m, running 22.87, and senior Matt Alander ran the 1000m in 2:36.51.
The meet concludes tomorrow with finals in all events under 5000m.
