Season Bests Continue at New England Champs

Coming off a solid runner-up finish at NESCACs, the Jumbos came into the New England Division III Championships at MIT looking use their momentum for PRs and national qualifiers. Even with a smaller squad, their efforts combined for fourth place as a team.

Starting off the weekend was the duo of junior Mike Blair and sophomore Andrew Osborne in the decathlon. Blair was already in the mix on the national list and hoped to move up a spot or two, while Osborne targeted a scoring position in the top eight. After a shaky Day 1, Blair found himself in a tight battle with Williams senior Chris Fogler. Just a few points separated the two as they started the 1500, which Fogler won by mere tenths.
