A senior on this year's team, Brendan has been a great addition to the TUXC squad. His leadership and mentoring has been irreplaceable as he challenges himself and everyone around him to strive for better things. Brendan is the primary representative for the team to the NESCAC Student Athlete Advisory Committee. He narrowly missed qualifying for the NESCAC Championship steeplechase as a sophomore. As a junior, he bested the mark and looks to compete in the event next spring as a senior. He's improved in the event in each of the last three seasons.

Why Tufts: Every morning in africa, a gazelle wakes up. It knows it must outrun the fastest lion or it will be killed. Every morning in africa a lion wakes up. It knows that must run faster then the slowest gazelle or it will starve. It doesn't matter whether you are the lion or the gazelle, you need to be at your best or you die. I chose Tufts because I knew I would learn how to always be at my best.
