As a middle distance specialist who ventured as far down as the 400m hurdles and had a deep love of cross country, Josh Gordon was one of the more well-rounded Tufts runners in recent history. With fierce power that intimidated his opponents (have you seen his deltoids?) and electric raw speed, Gordo was a formidable athlete from 400m to 1000m. His warmth and friendly demeanor made him an approachable role model and lovable teammate. After a semester abroad, JGord returned his senior year to some new faces -- and a new event. In just the last few meets of the year, Josh dropped time consistently in the 400m intermediate hurdles as his technique and power improved exponentially. He concluded the season with a PR sub-60 and, should he ever continue with the discipline post-graduation, a whole lot of potential.
